Community Services |
Implements projects on the arts, business affairs, citizenship, civic improvement, community beautification, conservation, health, literacy, public affairs, safety, and help for senior citizens and disabled persons. Some current projects include member participation in Meals on Wheels and immunization programs for children.

House Committee |
Responsible for providing the most effective club meeting possible. Areas of focus include the meeting location and facilities, the meal and reception at the meetings.

Human and Spiritual Values |
Encourages and supports the promotion of human and spiritual values in our community. This is accomplished through club activities, churches and other organizations that provide care and services for the elderly and needy and lift the spirits of those on our community

Interclub |
Strives to encourage visits between clubs as well as interdistrict get-togethers. Inter-clubbing supports Kiwanis’ fifth Object, which is “To provide, through this club, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build a better community.”

International Understanding |
Provides financial support for international causes that are deemed to meet the Kiwanis criteria.

Key Club |
Supports our Key Club at Winton Woods High School. Members provide general guidance to Key Club members and attend the twice monthly meetings.

Membership |
Strives to increase membership. This committee considers all Membership Applications and submits its recommendations to the board of directors. The committee is also responsible for conducting an effective orientation and induction ceremony for new members and for promoting regular attendance by all members at club meetings.

Public Relations |
Responsible for helping to ensure that the public receives, through the media and other means, the Objects, goals, programs, and achievements of the club and Kiwanis International.

Schedules speakers and events for membership meetings.

Youth Services |
Implements projects that address school-aged youth. Projects may address academics, advocacy, career exploration, character education and citizenship, club activities, health, hobbies, leadership development, literacy, mentoring, prevention of drug abuse, or sports and recreation.

Young Children Priority One |
Focuses on financial and volunteer support for organizations that provide help to young children and their families. Some of these organizations are: Crossroad Health Center, Bethany House, Down Syndrome Assoc., Fernside Center for Grieving Children, Ronald McDonald House and the Shriners Burns Institute.
